The vicarage, which was the most beautiful of all I had seen, was located there at the foot of Hunneberg. You live in a farmhouse located 10 meters from the main building. The farmhouse has 8 beds, two bedrooms are located on the ground floor and two upstairs. Both floors have bathrooms with toilet and shower. Both bathrooms were renovated in 2024. The rest of the cottage was carefully renovated in 2020 to preserve the previous environment and atmosphere that has existed here since the 1800s. You will enter via the veranda located on the short side of the cottage and continue to a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage gives a bright and warm impression. Wallpaper and decor blend tastefully. There is also a private garden here, with the option, if you want, to have a little extra celebration, e.g., to celebrate someone's birthday, set a long table, etc. in the room located in the adjacent storage room/shed. Here in Västra Tunhem, at the foot of Hunneberg and in between Trollhättan and Vänersborg, there are a variety of activities and attractions. Nearby Hunneberg and Halleberg have a unique flora and fauna, not only for Västergötland but also for the whole of Sweden. Bergen is now also part of the UNESCO Global Geopark. There are hiking trails, bike and walking paths and fishing opportunities (fishing license required). Mostly, however, it is known as the mountain of the moose. Trollhättan, Trollhättefallen, Lock area, SAAB museum. Vänersborg is a small town with, among other things, the museum and the (indoor) adventure pool, which are places in the area that may be worth a visit. By car, you can reach Gothenburg and Liseberg, Skara and Skara summerland, which is usually appreciated by the whole family, in about 1 hour. Bohuslän and the west coast are also within reach, so there are good excursion opportunities for those who want. Welcome to a truly lovely holiday stay in a wonderful environment! Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire house, which consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room. You'll even have access to your own garden of about 1000 m² with garden benches and a charcoal grill. There is also a shed with garden benches where you can also eat if the weather does not allow you to sit outside. Other things to note Pets are not allowed in this home. Bed linens and towels are not included. Bed linens and towels can be rented for SEK 150/set. Final cleaning is carried out by the tenant, can be purchased for SEK 1200. Payment for cleaning and bed linens is made before departure to the host couple.
