Welcome to the fairy-tale Å-stugan

Right by the water, the forest around the corner, no neighbors. The gravel road is open to the public. Small cottage with 180 bed on sleeping loft (can set up tent bed) Dogs are okay (not on the furniture) 2 bicycles are available to borrow, nice bike path to the village No electricity, water in a can, dry toilet, wood stove, gas stove, gas refrigerator, fireplace. I provide water, firewood, bed linens & towels. There is a water toilet and shower in the village (about 2 km) There are also pharmacies, Coop, pizzeria, liquor store, flea markets, etc. Amazing surroundings! The space The Å-stugan is 100 years old & was previously used as a space to wash clothes, etc. It is a harmonious and beautiful place, where the light lies magically over the river. It is furnished with a sofa, kitchen table & the old wood stove works great for cooking or for heating. There's also a gas stove & gas fridge. Olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, instant coffee & tea. Barbecue area, hammock & a hidden forest bath chair where you can lie down & recharge your batteries. Upstairs, there is a bed where the headboard is self-made from a tree that stood by the bridge. The view is like a painting! The outdoor toilet is completely newly built with a compost toilet and foot pump sink. There are several gravel roads from the cottage that lead around beautiful lakes, up on mountains & past horse pastures. Other things to note Ydre has a lot to offer, so feel free to check out the municipality's website for day trips. The gravel road in front of the cottage is open to the public.
