Other things to note Rainy season notice From late August until mid November we are in rainy season. During this period there is a risk for heavy rain and occasional hurricanes. During rainy season, you can expect dirt roads (which you find in different areas of Tulum) to get very muddy, you can expect some water to enter into apartments and you can expect occasional power-outs. For hurricanes, follow the government advisory notices. We will always prepare the apartment exceeding government recommendation for the period.
