Relax in comfort after a day of exploring the Otways, and let this peaceful haven be your home away from home. The space Your private room is designed for comfort, privacy, and relaxation. Enjoy a cozy bed with premium bedding and an electric blanket to keep you warm on cooler nights. The ensuite bathroom provides privacy and ease, while large windows with block-out blinds let you choose between morning light or a restful sleep-in. Your kitchenette corner comes with a microwave, mini fridge, hot water kettle, and a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. You’ll also find plates, bowls, cutlery, and wine glasses. A portable folding dining table with chairs is available if you’d like to enjoy a meal or a quiet coffee indoors. We’ve also included complimentary snacks, a simple cereal breakfast, coffee, tea, and other light treats for you to enjoy during your stay. Our filtered rainwater is among the freshest you’ll taste, perfectly safe and delicious straight from the tap. For your comfort, there’s a panel heater, fan, and hairdryer available. Stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet, ideal for streaming, remote work, or sharing your Otways adventures. And if you’re lucky, you might receive a visit from our friendly local wildlife. Kangaroos, deer, or even a sleepy koala may wander right up to your window! Guest access Enjoy complete privacy with your own separate entrance and easy self check-in and check-out via a lockbox conveniently located by the door. You’ll have exclusive access to your private room and ensuite bathroom throughout your stay. There’s undercover parking available in the carport for your vehicle, and you're also welcome to explore our 16-acre property and the timber plantation tracks nearby. We have trouts in our fish pond, and wild birds often visit the feeder. We provide their food and guests can feed them if they wish, it’s a quiet and simple way to enjoy some time outdoors. During your stay We respect your privacy and want you to feel completely at ease during your stay. With self check-in and a private entrance, you can come and go as you please. We live on the property, so we’re nearby if you need anything, whether it’s local tips, help with directions, or a friendly chat. Otherwise, we’ll give you plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our goal is to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if there’s anything we can do to help. Other things to note We’re proud to offer Great Ocean Walk support, our guests can enjoy a free pick-up and drop-off service at Johanna Beach to Milanesia Beach for overnight stays, or between Blanket Bay at Cape Otway and Port Campbell when you use Southern Heights as your base for multiple night bookings. You’ll also receive complimentary wash and fold laundry service during your stay. We recommend staying at least two nights to fully unwind & experience all the peace and tranquility this special place has to offer. A quick heads up about supplies and dining during your stay. There's only a small cafe nearby, open  from 9 am–4 pm. The closest grocery store and petrol station are about 40 minutes away, so it’s best to plan ahead. For dinner, The Perch restaurant is just a couple of minutes away, we’re happy to drive you there and back if you’d like to enjoy a drink. If you’d prefer to stay in, we recommend bringing microwavable meals. You’re also very welcome to use our kitchen in the house upon request if you’d like to cook instead. While the property offers peace and privacy, we’re always nearby if you need assistance or local recommendations. We’re happy to help you make the most of your time in the Otways.
