Situated on the historic Bosworth Battlefield adjacent to a timber framed Grade II listed farmhouse. Fabulous countryside walks through meadows and beyond, accessed directly from your back door. Long term stays are welcome and special rates will apply. The space The Cottage has its own private access and is for your sole use. All on one level with a step free access from the outdoor area. The accommodation offers a complete kitchen with full size dishwasher, oven, combi microwave and laundry facilities. The Cottage can be let on a serviced basis, which is normally useful for those working away from home. Cleaning can be arranged on a weekly basis at an extra cost. For longer stays, those over seven days, the bed linen is changed at no extra cost. The towels are changed every three days free of charge. The bedroom offers a king size bed with space for a travel cot or extra single bed if required. The king size bed is a zip link so this, with notice can be separated to allow for two people to sleep separately in the room. In addition to the kingsize bed in the bedroom, the spacious lounge can accommodate two people when the sofa is converted into a double bed. The area is steeped in history, the property is actually situated on the Bosworth Battlefield where King Richard III was slain. We have lived here in the farmhouse within the same grounds for almost 20 years and absolutely recommend the area. Close enough to the cities but rurally located and so peaceful. We love to host and to share what we consider a fabulous property, but don't get in the way, it's your place while you are here. Guest access The access is along a private driveway taken from the Fenn Lane. At the top of the drive you will see The Cottage to the left. Parking is available opposite the oak front door. Apple Orchard Farm has provided accommodation and breakfast for over 30 years and is still a favourite with our regular guests. Our breakfasts consist of locally sourced produce and can be served to you in the Cottage. Our champagne breakfast is a must for those celebrating a special occasion! Picnics can be arranged and set up in the wildflower meadow. Fairy lights are set up to enhance the experience if dining in the dark! Catered meetings, lunch and packed lunches can be ordered.
