Nestled at the bottom of the meadow, the romantic Garden Cottage is our most secluded accommodation. With a king bed, jetted tub, and small seating area, this cottage offers a private getaway for couples or solo travelers looking for a relaxing getaway. Although we allow two pets per accommodation, if you're traveling with larger breeds, we recommend one of our more spacious cottages like Pomo or Ledford. There is a $30 per pet per night fee that is NOT included in the room rate. Our property has 17 rooms and cottages in 11 buildings. Some are stand alone cottages, some are motel style rooms with shared walls and decks. The property is 6.2 rural acres of natural gardens surrounded by forests. We are in the wild so there are lots of birds and wildlife. This cottage is on the ground floor and has two steps to the front door. The path to the cottage is slightly slanted so we encourage guests with limited mobility to reserve our other accommodations. Guests have access to the interior of the cottage, the private deck, and the rest of the property and grounds. Innkeepers are available from 8 am to 8 pm for questions, requests, and anything else you may need. The town of Little River, Ca is just three miles south of Mendocino. There is a small market and gas station and a restaurant at the Little River Inn. It is a very rural area with lots of wildlife, dirt roads, and quiet, star filled nights. This area does not have public transport, taxis, ubers, or lyfts available. Guests have to drive off property for food and activities. Up to two pets per room or cottage. Nightly pet fee of $30 per pet not included in the rate and to be collected at check-in. Our pet kit includes a pet bed, towel, sheet, bowls, treats and other surprises.
