Double room with old-school charm

My house offers you a very central point in the village that feels like the countryside at the same time, because the garden is simply a dream. You use a guest room upstairs. There is also the bathroom, which you can reach via the hallway. These two rooms will be exclusively available to you during your stay. The bus stop is less than 1 minute away on foot and the train station, shopping facilities, pharmacies and bakeries are within 17 minutes. The space Upstairs you will find the cozy bedroom with a Hemnes bed, TV and Prime access, as well as a desk. In the TV shelf there is a lockable compartment to store valuables. The same floor also has the bathroom, with great views over the garden to the edge of the forest. The other rooms on the 1st floor are used by us and are therefore private. In the basement, right next to my private dining and living area, is the old kitchen, which is now available to guests. Since the old kitchen is the heart of the house, it is a passage room. You use this kitchen for yourself, but it is our way to the bathroom and garden ;) You are welcome to use the garden and terrace. I own a cat that sometimes stays in the house. However, the bedrooms are off limits. Please don't feed Kalli. He gets his food from us every day... but he's always hungry. My house is not perfect, but I am doing everything I can to breathe life back into it. There is still a lot to do and I love every inch of my home. Guest access The main entrance door is situated on the frontside of the house. It gives you direct access to the stairwell to the 1st floor and the kitchen is also just around the corner. However, we mainly use the back entrance door via the terrace. If you come by car, you are welcome to park it in front of the house on the lawn on the property. The staircase to the upper floor consists of 2 parts. The second part is a bit steeper because it is an old building. During your stay If you need anything, I am available. Other things to note Hanerau-Hademarschen is located in the middle of the inland between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Here you can take great bike tours and hikes. The Kiel Canal (NOK) is a beautiful excursion spot with great cafes at the various ferry docks. There are also beautiful forests with many hiking trails. Very close to Hanerau-Hademarschen is the Stone Age Park Albersdorf, which is highly interesting for young and old. You can reach the North Sea by car in approx. 35 minutes. There are various swimming coves and great excursion destinations, such as Büsum, Sankt Peter-Ording or Tönning. Note the daily tides if you want to go mudflat hiking. If you don't like mudflats, the Baltic Sea is the place to be. The Baltic Sea is approx. 60 minutes by car. Popular places are Eckernförde, Friedrichsort and Laboe. There you will find beautiful sandy beaches for long walks or just for swimming and chilling.
