Character meets style in our newly renovated cottage in the heart of Cononley - a vibrant Dales village near Skipton. Location is everything — you’ll be a stone’s throw from two great pubs, a park, shop, and a well-connected train station. Perfect for both couples or families (and pets) our 2-bedroom cottage sleeps 4 and has an open-plan living area with beams and natural wood finishes throughout. Thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. The space The living area The heart of the cottage - with original beams restored to their former glory, oak flooring throughout and window seat made using natural timber, the living area has bags of character mixed with a luxury feel. The space is designed so everyone can feel connected and make the most of precious time away. There is a 55 inch smart tv and comfy seating so you can relax and unwind whilst watching your favourite Netflix show. Not a fan of tv? Take your pick of our selection of family games we’ve provided for you to enjoy. Connecting both the living area and the kitchen there is a breakfast bar with seating. Kitchen Up a small step you’ll find a stylish, practical and very well-equipped kitchen designed for easy holiday living. The brand new kitchen has quartz worktops, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There’s also a coffee machine and complimentary pods for those needing a caffeine hit. From morning coffees to late night suppers, you’ll have everything you need to make cooking effortless. Bathroom Fresh and clean, you’ll find a brand new, bathroom with large walk in shower. With fresh towels and shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided - you’ll have all you need. Bedrooms The master bedroom has views down the village and park, and is a beautiful calm space. The double bed has a brand new hybrid mattress and is dressed with crisp bedding, ready for you to curl up on after a busy day. There’s also a full length mirror and wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds that cleverly also turn into a double (note these are quite low). Outside To the outside of the cottage there is parking space for one car (with options nearby for another) and a seating area for you to enjoy al fresco dining or just soak up the vibe of our wonderful village. The area behind the parking space is enclosed for dog and child safety. The area Cononley itself is a fantastic village and has everything you need. Skipton is just a few miles away and you can easily and quickly get there by train or car (or walk/cycle if you want a scenic walk along the canal). This year voted the happiest place to live in the UK, Skipton is well known for its Medieval Castle together with a bustling High Street featuring an outdoor market on the cobbled 'setts' four days a week. The town offers a great mix of independent shops, pubs and cafes in addition to having well known branded stores and a wide choice of bars and restaurants. Skipton also enjoys an annual programme of community events and festivals. In addition, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park is only a short drive away, offering some of the finest countryside, walks and scenery in the UK. Our charming country cottage has been thoughtfully renovated throughout, creating a relaxing place to truly switch off and enjoy a slower pace of life. Guest access During your stay you’ll have sole access to the whole of Meadow Cottage with parking out front for one car. Entry is via a key safe next to the front door (code provided before arrival). Other things to note There is private parking for one car (don’t worry if your car overhangs the space) but if you’re bringing two then you can park on the main street, or there is a small parking area with 7 spaces to the right of the cottage (on Moorfoot Lane)
