Castelli Olive Press was an old, small , family olive press at the village Fourni, North Corfu and now, is a lovely, fully renovated and comfortable house for a family of 3 people or a couple. Located in a fully green landscape, has a breathtaking view and an astonishing sunset. The space The best choice for the most authentic and alternative holidays at a small remote village on the mountain of North Corfu. It is a very cozy and hospitable house , suitable for those who prefer peaceful family or romantic vacations for two. The guest house is the first one of the eight houses one can find while reaching the linear agglomeration of Fourni. Fourni is a very small village, at the north hillsides of mount Pantokratoras -the highest on Corfu island- 10 minutes distance from the nearest town and beach of Acharavi. Castelli Olive Press was my family's small home olive press, serving , also, the nearby houses of the village. The building was built 150 years ago and was covering the needs of the village, until new contemporary units of processing olives appeared in the area, about 50 years ago. Then, the only thing left was the "screw", which the people started using it for making their wine. At the same time, a part of this small building became a storage and a stable of our family. Nowadays, we renovated the building using traditional building methods and maintaining the old massive stone walls. So, the house , now is completely restored and fully renovated, turned into a comfortable and charming house for three people. The house Is situated in a fully green and unspoiled environment , The site breathes out an atmospheric quiet and tranquility. This becomes more intense due to the panoramic view from the south to the north , over the hills with olive groves and cypress trees till the north beach of Roda , Acharavi and Othonoi Island. The sunset from the property Is extraordinary. Our lovely furnished house is 50 sqm, with 2 rooms. It has an open living room with a sofa-bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining corner. There is, also, a bathroom and a truly bright and lovely double-bed bedroom. Around the house there is a nice courtyard for someone to relax ,eat, drink, read, play games , or just watch the beautiful sunset and the breathtaking view. You can , also , enjoy the small pool , a level higher from the courtyard , the site of which culminates charm, tranquility and beauty of the landscape. The pool is shared with the next house, Castelli Cottage, my grandparent's main house , available for renting too . The size of the pool is 3*6 m. and 1.50-1.60 m. depth.
