Riegsee and Murnau am Staffelsee are very close – ideal places for relaxing days, enjoying nature and many happy moments. Our apartment (76 sqm) offers plenty of space for 6-8 guests and impresses with its elegant design, the view of the greenery and a lot of coziness. The accommodation "Apartment Bergfreuden" is on the upper floor of the Flachshaus. It has its own private entrance. As soon as you enter the 76 sqm apartment, you will find a cozy eat-in kitchen with upholstered seating area, dining table and upholstered chairs, a dreamy bright, cozy living area with XL panoramic windows, wooden slats and views of the mountains, as well as a sleeping area open to the living room with king-size bed, ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the entrance hall is the separate double room (queen size bed with ensuite bathroom) with access to its own sunny west-facing balconies and additional bunk bed for up to 1-2 people (favorite place for children). The gable room with two alcoves/single beds and a private guest toilet offers additional space – ideal for children or friends. The living area has a pull-out sofa bed for even more flexibility or another person. The sunny balconies are accessible from the living room and the separate bedroom thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. Perfect for two families with 2 children each, befriended couples, groups of friends. Equipped with cozy upholstered benches, a large table and comfortable upholstered chairs, as well as a large Internet flat-screen TV. There is also a room with wine refrigerators and a separate toilet. Enjoy walks to the lake, hikes in the Blue Land, excursions to Murnau, to the Zugspitze or simply relaxing hours in the house. On request, the washing machine including integrated dryer can be used. Our cottage is located on the quiet outskirts of Aidling – Riegsee and is the ideal starting point for unforgettable vacation days in the Blue Land. Numerous cycling and hiking trails start right outside the front door through the fantastic natural landscape. In a few minutes you can reach the picturesque Riegsee with its idyllic Aidlinger swimming spot by bike or on foot: sunbathing area, wooden jetty and bathing island invite you to linger. The surrounding lakes – Staffelsee, Kochelsee, Froschhauser See, Walchensee, Lake Starnberg, Ammersee or the Osterseen – invite you to swim, picnic and enjoy. Nevertheless, our heart beats especially for the Riegsee, perhaps the most beautiful lake in the region. Sports fans and explorers will get their money's worth here: mountain biking, hiking, walking, walking or excursions to highlights such as Zugspitze, Garmisch, Neuschwanstein Castle and the lively Murnau am Staffelsee with its picturesque pedestrian zone and the famous Gabriele Münter Haus. For shopping and culture, Munich (conveniently by train) and Garmisch offer numerous possibilities. Guest access The Bergfreuden apartment is located on the second floor of the "Das Flachshaus - Boutique Apartments" vacation home. It has its own private entrance. In addition to the apartment, guests have access to the basement, the common room, the adjoining room with wine refrigerators and the separate toilet, as well as access to the utility room with washing machine / dryer on request. Other things to note NOTE - Please note: A single-family house was built on the neighboring property last year. Interior work is still ongoing, which can occasionally lead to construction noise on weekdays. According to the builder, the exterior of the house will be plastered in June (temporarily audible, but mostly moderate construction noise is to be expected during the exterior plastering), a prefabricated garage will be installed at some point, and the garden will also be landscaped at some point (unfortunately, we have no information on when this will happen). According to the client, all work is expected to be completed by autumn 2026. We have therefore reduced our prices.
