Villa Imperiale – feel like an Empress and Emperor

You'll experience the timeless charm of the historic ‘Villa Imperiale’ on the Mendel Pass, at an altitude of 1,350 metres. So the temperature is always agreeable at this altitude, and the tap water is at mountain-source quality. That's why, in Austro-Hungarian times, the building was an upscale hotel for aristocrats, scientists, artists, and major politicians. The space The flat On the 4th floor of the building, the apartment has a separate entrance hall with a kitchen, a living room with two double sofa beds, and a bathroom. The outside balcony overlooks the gardens of the Austro-Hungarian complex, the former residence of Empress Sissi. (Perhaps you streamed "The Empress" recently?) The grounds There is parking on the grounds to the left side of the building, close to where you drive in, right after the tennis court, a space for picnics and barbecues, and two ping pong tables. Electric bicycle charging station If you use an electric bike, there is a free charging station in the public parking space 20 m (60 feet) from the barrier to the grounds, just outside. There is also a small toolkit with a pump, a pedal wrench, and some Allen keys. There is also a small tool kit with a pump, a pedal wrench, and a few Allen keys. Guest access The entire apartment is at your disposal. Entry is with the keys that you'll find near the main entrance (characterized by the yellow spheres on top of the columns beside the staircase), in the box labeled 'B. Zwerger'.Enter through the main front door and take the formal stairs up to the top floor (or take the elevator). Once on the top floor, take the outside door to the left, and you'll see the fire extinguisher. The studio is the first door right after the fire extinguisher. In the off-season, the main door is sometimes locked. We'll send you separate instructions because the keys work on the building's rear doors. If you come by car Stop before the barrier if it's closed, and walk to the main entrance door (take the staircase with the yellow spheres on top of the columns). In the keybox marked 'B. Zwerger' there is a remote control to open the gate, as well as the keys to the building and studio. ENGLISH The entire apartment is available for your use. To access it, use the keys that you will find near the main entrance (recognizable by the yellow spheres at the top of the columns next to the staircase), in the box marked "B. Zwerger". Enter through the main entrance door and take the main staircase to the top floor (or take the elevator). Once on the top floor, take the exterior door on the left; you will see the fire extinguisher. The studio is just after the fire extinguisher, on the right. Out of season, the main front door is sometimes locked. We will send you specific instructions, as the keys open the back doors of the building. Other things to note E-bike charging station (5 slots: 2 with Bosch chargers and 3 with standard thin Italian 3-pin sockets) available in the public parking lot just outside the grounds (see the photos). Also, an unattended bike servicing column (i.e., a number of tools, e.g., pedal spanners, Allen keys, a pump, etc.) is near the charging station.
