A stay in the dome is truly unforgettable and it is equipped with a king-size bed, private deck with a magnesium sunken spa, firepit, reverse cycle AC and a separate bathroom. The space Indulge in a romantic escape at the magical Petrichor Estate. Nestled in a small 5.3m wide by 3m high glamping dome, where you can sleep under the stars in a plush king bed with reverse cycle air-conditioning, waking up to breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains, the coastline and lakes as the sun rises in hues of pink and orange. Located on a raised deck in the heart of a working cattle farm, the dome offers picturesque views of the sweeping hills, making it a truly special getaway for an unforgettable stay. The dome has been completely renovated and now boasts a brand-new structure featuring a luxurious king-size bed and two occasional chairs positioned to take in the stunning views and sunken spa (magnesium). Amenities include a reverse cycle AC unit, mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine, and complimentary tea, coffee, and long-life milk. Separate from the dome is a newly built bathroom, complete with a nature loo (toilet), double shower, and vanity, all designed to offer breathtaking views in total privacy. Outside, a raised deck wraps around the dome, leading to a magnesium sunken spa where you can unwind in pure bliss. Just steps away, is the cosy firepit area with natural rock seating invites you to relax under the stars and reconnect with your loved one. There are no kitchen or wifi facilities at the dome, but you’re welcome to bring picnic-style food, an esky, and outdoor cooking gear, please note cooking inside the dome is not allowed. The dome features specially designed curtains that wrap around the interior, allowing you to open them fully to soak in the panoramic views or close them for complete privacy, while a central ceiling panel remains uncovered, offering an uninterrupted view of the stars above. While the dome may get windy or noisy, it is one of the safest structures to experience strong winds. Guest access You will have access to the dome and the grass area around it for parking, walking and taking photos. Situated at the top of a mountain, there is a steep 30% gradient up the driveway, it is advised you access with a 4WD - please take caution with a 2WD. Please note that there is a separate holiday home on the property which is 200m away from the dome, so you have your own space. Other things to note * Please note there is a regional broadcast tower located approximately 100m from the dome. These towers are part of the TV & radio distribution network, no electricity is generated at the site. * Please note that there is a separate home on the northern side of the property and is out of bounds, which is also available for holiday rentals. *Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form. *This home is in a rural area - noise, odour, dust, creepy crawlys and spray drift from adjoining agricultural uses can occur occasionally. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally. No events are permitted at any time. Please note that the hot water supply lasts approximately 10–15 minutes with continuous use. * PLEASE NOTE - It is advised that guests have a 4WD vehicle to access this property up the steep driveway, please take caution with a 2WD. *Please note - the property itself (farm) is open to photographers via bookings - during your stay, you may see wedding parties around the property for this purpose - they have been advised to not go near the dome if we have guests. * Security cameras: there is a surveillance camera at the front gate that records voice/videos. Please note the 7Networks tower located behind the dome has a sensor light. *This is rural property so if grass is freshly cut, there may be grass clippings. The property is a working cattle farm - must love cows and be happy to dodge "cow patties" if the cows are in the Dome paddock.
