Entire Cottage on Bramdean Common, Nr Alresford

Unique and spacious cottage with enclosed garden. Stunning cottage garden, with small conservatory for reading, watching birds, and taking in the south-facing light. Located on stunning Bramdean Common, perfect for walks in every season and ideally located near to Alresford, with Winchester, Alton and Petersfield all within 20 minute drive. The cottage is only one hour drive from London. Fabulous pubs in all the villages nearby! The space This is a detached cottage, located next door to the host's home. The 2 properties are divided by parkland fencing. The host has 1 small, well-behaved and friendly dog. On entry there is a porch with lots of hooks to hang coats, leave boots and shoes. You enter into the main living room which consists of a dining area at one end, and a sitting area at the other where there is a log burning stove. There is also a bar area and TV at this end of the room. Also in this room there is a desk and chair. Following in to the house there is a second open living space for storage/dog beds and sitting. Off this space is a small kitchen and downstairs cloakroom/WC where the oil-fired boiler is located. Up the narrow stairs on the left is Bedroom 1 which has twin beds - these are also zip and link. In this bedroom there is a washbasin and a shower. To the other side of the stairs is Bedroom 2 which has a standard double bed. There is then a single step up to a dressing area which would also be large enough for a travel cot. This leads to a bathroom with bath (with hand shower) and WC, which has automatic night lighting. NB: please note that the doorways have low ceilings as is the step up to the dressing area. We have hung a small toy from this ceiling to alert guests. Guest access Guests can access the property via 2 different gates that lead from the driveway. There is a tall gate off Bramdean Common side and a small back gate on the other side of the property. Other things to note Dogs are welcome 🐾 We’re happy to host well-behaved dogs at £20 per dog per stay (maximum of 2 dogs). Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to bring a dog. Please be aware there may be limited mobile phone reception depending on your provider. There is a BT landline for emergency use. Any unreasonable call charges will be chargeable. Due to our rural location, there is no deliveroo/uber operating in the area (at time of writing). Takeaway options are available from Alresford. Host can provide details of taxis or babysitters. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the host garage which can be used by guests on agreement with the host. There is room for a travel cot in the dressing area of Bedroom 2.
