Our charming and spacious 1930s detached family home is perfect for relaxing with the whole family, a group of friends or colleagues. There is plenty to do. Within walking distance to Newbury Racecourse, Newbury Train station (50 minutes to London) and the attractive town centre, we are also only a short drive away from Highclere Castle, home of the popular Downton Abbey (10 minutes) and the lovely market town of Hungerford . Check our Guide section before your visit for more details. The space Our lovely home offers plenty of space for families, friends and colleagues, enabling everyone to spread out comfortably. Downstairs features a large open-plan dining and living space (seating 6 comfortably), separate living room, kitchen, utility area, and WC. Upstairs there are 3 generous sized bedrooms (2 with TVs, one with a small child’s bed) and 2 bathrooms one with a bath, the other with shower facilities. Please note that all sleeping areas are upstairs and therefore our property is not suitable for anyone with serious mobility issues. There is also a large private back garden, on-drive parking for 3 cars and free overnight (23.30 - 5.30) EV Charging. Guest access Rental includes use of a generous rear garden, mostly laid to lawn, with garden furniture perfect for a glass of something chilled in the evening. There is also a trampoline, Wendy house and small slide for family entertainment. A barbecue is provided, but we would really appreciate it if it could be clean and emptied before leaving, ready for the use of our next guests. Many thanks.
