Kirmo House: Room 8 - Experience Salla, Lapland and winter!

Hey, folks from the south! Do you still remember what a proper snowy winter looks and feels like? Kirmoitalo is located in the municipality of Salla, in Finnish Lapland. Experience the authentic nature of Lapland! We are surrounded by the vast, arctic wilderness of Lapland and numerous lakes and rivers. Salla church village is located about 40 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle - so we are real Lapland. Come and enjoy the tranquility of nature and experiences in both winter and summer. It is family-friendly: two adult beds and a bunk bed for two children (length 140cm x width 60cm, height 100cm). We offer hostel-type accommodation for more than 25 guests at Kirmoitalo. On the 2nd floor there are two 3-room apartments with a weekly rental. The first floor has 8 private rooms and 16 beds. Two of the rooms (no. 5 and 6) can be combined into a comfortable three-person apartment or a family apartment with its own mini-kitchen. In addition, the 1st floor of the house has a separate, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lobby, sauna, two shower rooms and four toilets. In the backyard of the house there is a barbecue canopy that is available to our guests. Free parking in the yard. You can book a room for one or more nights, a week, or even months. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with local delicacies can be prepared by special order by agreement. Some rooms also include: TV, private fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, hand wash basin and faucet. The kitchen is very well equipped and shared by the residents around the clock: fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, two coffee makers, kettle, dishwasher. Dishes, kitchen utensils and basic equipment (coffee, tea, sugar, salt, spices, vegetable oil, etc.) are available. The dining area has a dining table and 6 chairs. The 1st floor lobby also has a dining table, sofa and TV. During your stay The hostess and host of Kirmoitalo do not live in the house, but in the immediate vicinity. We provide our guests with a phone number where they can always reach us if they have any questions or need help or advice. Other things to note At Kirmoitalo, we offer comfortable and pleasant accommodation and entertainment at very affordable prices. All the premises have been renovated in 2019 and the beds and bedding are new.
