The Hobarn - A Book Village Retreat

The Hobarn provides the perfect space to relax, read a book, take a long bath, prepare a delicious meal and disconnect! Once you are ready to venture out you can walk down the street to one of the bookstores in Hobart, stop by Cellar Door Wines & Spirits or go for a hike along the Catskills Scenic Trail. Whether you decide to stay in or venture out The Hobarn’s central location will make it easy to enjoy the beautiful towns and villages in the Western Catskill Mountains. The space The Hobarn was originally a carriage house built in the late 1890’s and lovingly restored. We have worked to maintain the charm of the past while bringing in the comforts of today including a beautiful free standing tub and luxurious spa style bathroom with radiant heated concrete floors to make it cozy year round! Guest access Guests enter through front door and access their unit on first floor. The unit has it's own lock and is not accessible to anyone during your stay. The upstairs space is not included in the rental. Other things to note The Hobarn is centrally located in the Western Catskills near several great small towns, hiking or skiing in the winter: Stamford - 5 Minutes Bovina - 15 Minutes Andes - 25 Minutes Delhi - 20 Minutes Hunter Mountain - 35 Minutes Cooperstown - 60 minutes
