Welcome to our country home! Charming, renovated house in a quiet area, with a garden that offers beautiful views of the countryside. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 6 beds, baby bed. Main house: new equipped kitchen, living room, dining room, master suite & bathroom, bedroom & bathroom, baby bed. Annex: 2 bedrooms, bathroom. Garden table & chairs, griddle, Wi-Fi & TV, games, washing machine, dishwasher, sheets & towels. 2 hours from Paris by train, train station in the village. The space The property consists of two houses: the main house – on the ground floor, living room, kitchen, and dining room; on the 1st floor, bedroom with double bed and bathroom; on the 2nd floor, master suite (2 convertible single beds) and bathroom); and an annex cottage in the garden, which has: on the ground floor, bedroom with double bed and bathroom; on the 1st floor, bedroom with 2 single beds (can be converted into a double bed). A portable crib is available. Garden table and chairs. Guest access - Pets not allowed. - 2 hours from Paris by train, station in the village. Other things to note You'll love: THE VILLAGE: - Charming historic village, on the banks of a river, with its 2 castles and medieval church. - Living village with its bakery-grocery store, its very friendly associative café, and in the summer its café-restaurant in the greenery. - The practical side: supermarket, all shops, and weekly market, 5 minutes by car. - Bike rental in the village. THINGS TO DO AROUND: - In the heart of a beautiful region of vineyards: Chablis, Irancy, Côtes d'Auxerre, etc; - Nearby: Vézelay and its basilica; the prehistoric caves of Arcy-sur-Cure; the historic towns of Avallon and Auxerre. - Numerous hiking trails (Chemin de Compostelle). - Bike rides along the canals, without cars: perfect for children - and cyclists! - Beaches along the river, accessible on foot and by bike from the house. - Canoeing in nearby villages. - Numerous festivals and entertainment in summer: music festivals, village festivals, night markets, etc. We love this village because friendliness reigns, mutual aid and intergenerational links, for example at the associative café.
