Rural idyll in the middle of the Småland highlands. A location close to the lake with the possibility to borrow a small rowing boat, on the edge of Sävsjö. Perfect for families. Warm welcome! The space Welcome to an idyll at Sävsjö Norregård. Here you live in a red turn of the century house with white knots. The house is about 90 sqm with mixed standard next to a swimming lake with fishing opportunities. Rent a bike, bring your SUP, and lie down on the small child-friendly sandy beach by the lake in just a minute. The house is a simpler residence/vacation home that has been partially spruced up and renovated, but everything is available for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and toilet are of an older standard but are clean and functional. Park next to the house and charge your electric car if you need. On the ground floor there is a hall, large enough to leave a stroller in, for example. There are partly plank floors on the ground floor, very beautiful but can be experienced cold, slippers can be nice. In the green wallpapered living room there is a TV and a fireplace that can be burned in, wood is not provided. Tvn is a smartTV depending on wifi/mobile data. In the dining room next door there are windows down to the lake, also exit to the terrace facing the field and the lake if you prefer to sit outside. Outdoor furniture is available. A small charcoal grill is available. You bring your own charcoal. The old charming kitchen is equipped with oven/stove/microwave/ fridge and freezer as well as accessories, dishwasher is not available. Feel free to use some rhubarb growing next to the corner and bake a pie. Food items are not available, but basic things such as paper, dish soap, dish cloth, coffee filters, foil, etc. are provided. One of the two bedrooms is on the ground floor. There is a double bed (180) , as well as a child/junior bed. An older bathroom with shower and washing machine is available. (Own well with tested and useful water. ) Dryer is outside. Up one flight of stairs, there is an upper hall. There is a play and games corner here. The second bedroom is also located upstairs. There is a double bed (180) and a crib to borrow. The sleeping places are thus distributed amongst two bedrooms. In total, there are two queen size beds, one child's bed, and one crib. There is an air mattress (120) and the sofa can sleep on if you want to stay more in the house. Wifi is available but varied quality/function may occur. Coverage is always on the mobile. The house is located on the outskirts of Sävsjö and the "Sävsjö signs" you come inside in a few minutes walk. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the city center where there is a cafe, pizzeria, cinema, library, railway station and grocery stores. In bad weather there are other fun activities such as a good gym, climbing center, shooting center, flea markets, hiking the highland trail, bowling, padel, tennis, a family friendly bathhouse. In winter, there is a small ski slope with a lift in the middle of Sävsjö. I'm happy to give tips on gems to visit. Bed linens, towels, bath towels and cleaning are included in the rent, but it is appreciated if you leave it tidy, dishes washed, and take out your sorted garbage. The house consists of more spaces, including storage room and garage, on site, are indicated which may be used. The residence has comfortable geothermal heating as well as solar cells such as heating, the temperature can be easily adjusted via the heating center if you wish. Please pets staying on a leash outside are welcome. There are several houses/farming on the farm, children and livestock, show consideration applies. We have a barbecue area that can be used, 5 minutes forest walk away.
