The Bastle at Portgate Farm Allendale

Adventure awaits you in this working hill farm getaway on the outskirts of Allendale Town in the beautiful North Pennines AONB. The Bastle cottage forms part of the original ancient Bastle house at Portgate Farm, located within walking distance into Allendale. Enjoy our farms nature and farming walking trails that take you on a journey through ancient woodlands, waterfalls , wildflower meadows and see the sheep, cows horses and chickens that graze the natural grassland pastures. The space The Bastle comprises of two ensuite bedrooms upstairs with an open plan kitchen, dining and living room on the ground floor. Guest access Guests have full private access of the Bastle Cottage. Other things to note We are currently not accepting pets due to the close proximity of the farms livestock
