Charming Lakefront Getaway

Unwind at this cozy lakefront cottage nestled deep in the woods near Molega Lake. With no neighbours in sight, you’ll enjoy complete privacy and peaceful surroundings among old-growth trees. The cottage features two bedrooms, plus a loft with a single bed and bunk bed, fireplace, BBQ, and Wi-Fi. A short natural path leads to a private lakefront with a dock, canoe, kayak, and pedal boat. It’s an ideal spot for swimming, paddling, or simply relaxing by the water and enjoying nature’s tranquility. The space This cottage on Beaverdam Lake has a vaulted ceiling, a full kitchen, and indoor plumbing with a tub (no shower). There are 2 bedrooms and a loft with a single bed and bunk beds, perfect for families. You’ll also find board games, books, and puzzles to enjoy. A canoe, kayak, paddleboat, and life jackets are available for you to use, but please be sure you’re comfortable handling them and use at your own risk. There’s no TV or landline in the cottage, but the Wi-Fi is fast enough for work or streaming. A portable AC unit is available in the living room. Please attach the exhaust hose (stored in the adjacent cabinet) and place it in the window before turning the unit on. Water comes from the lake and is treated with UV light and a reverse osmosis system, though we recommend bringing your own water for drinking. The cottage is about a 1.5 hour drive from Halifax and the Annapolis Valley. The nearest convenience store, liquor store, and gas station are in Greenfield, about 5 minutes away, where you’ll also find a playground and library. Both Bridgewater and Liverpool are roughly 20 minutes away. Bridgewater has grocery stores, a mall, restaurants, quaint shops, antique stores, and a movie theatre. Liverpool is a charming town with shops, restaurants, and playgrounds, great for exploring on foot. Nearby towns like Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and Chester are easy to reach by car and make great spots to explore for tourists Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and the surrounding property. There’s parking conveniently available right in front, and you're welcome to use the boats, dock, BBQ, outdoor seating, and firepit. Please note that all guests wishing to use the boats must sign a liability waiver prior to use. Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay. Other things to note While Wi-Fi is available, cell phone signal can be limited. It’s a good idea to download offline maps before you arrive Bringing your own drinking water is recommended.
