Our home is perfectly located for travelers exploring northern Tanzania just a 15 minute drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, 7 minutes to Karatu town centre, and 3 minutes from the main tarmac road via a short country road. Enjoy the serenity of a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature, with fresh air and sweeping valley and highland views ideal for unwinding after a day of safari adventures or local exploration. Our property compound provides a home for over 20 species of birds which some are resident nesting in trees in the compound and some are palaeactic migratory species from Southern Europe. Guest access Each guest enjoys a private bedroom equipped with comfortable bedding and essential amenities including hot water to make your stay restful. Guests upon request may have access to the kitchen for light use such as food reheating, coffee and tea making, spacious dining room and a beautiful outdoor garden perfect for morning coffee, reading, or watching the sunset over the hills. Free parking is available on-site, and we can help arrange local transport or safari connections upon request. Other things to note Our home is also shared with two friendly guard dogs Ruby and Onzi who help keep the property safe. They are gentle with guests but typically stay outdoors (in their kennel) during the day and released to take charge of security during the night.
