The space In our terraced house with the two storey high wintergarden you can experience the life close to nature combined with the vivid urban life in nearby Vienna. Tulln, a historic town with 15.000 inhabitants, is situated upon the Danube river. An extensive garden landscape connects the town centre to the Danube riverside. Enjoy shopping in the small shops and cafés in the historic centre and the innercity shopping centre! You won't miss a thing! It just takes you 5 minutes to go to the town centre by bike. We have 4 really good bikes (2 youth bikes). Cycling along the European Danube Cycling Trail is a pleasure. You could even cycle the 36 kilometres to Vienna and take the train (20 minutes) back. Don't hesitate to visit Salzburg from Tulln. You can reach it by high speed train in just two hours, Prag und Budapest are ideal destinations for the weekend. The house has two double beds, one single bed and two additional matresses to fit in wherever you need them. Make yourself comfortable with our wood fireplace in the living room! From the large timber terrasse and the roof-deck you have a view to the Vienna Forest and the first mountains of the Alps. Early in the morning you can watch dear and rabbits on the fields. Two friendly cats live in our house and ask you to feed them. Our neighbours are all very friendly and will support you if you need any help! The neighbourhood is used to share milk, eggs, screwdrivers etc. if needed. Egon Schiele, the world famous painter was born in Tulln. In summer 2014 an international Egon Schiele symposium will take place where psycologists and art historians will discuss why he painted the way he painted and will try to assume how he would have painted if he had not only lived for 28 years. :-))
