Relax in this cozy and lakeside home in our little Sjöstuga. Enjoy the south-facing patio, where you will find a table and chairs, adjustable sun loungers, and a comfortable sofa corner. Borrow the swimming jetty where there is a swimming ladder. A rowboat is available for use. Road and rail are nearby but do not disturb significantly, but it is also not completely quiet during the day. The cottage is located on a garden plot but is still separate from the main building, where two retirees and a dog live. Welcome to this rural idyll! The space The cottage is well planned and can accommodate everything You need: Living room/bedroom: Continental bed for two people equipped with pillows and duvets. Sheets are included in the rental rate. Kitchen: Fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. We offer coffee and tea! Bathroom: Fresh bathroom with water-flushing toilet, sink and shower. Towels and toilet paper included. Hairdryer available. Outdoor area: Large deck with parasol, sun loungers, table and chairs, sofa corner, and a charcoal grill just below. Guest access As a guest, you have access to our bathing jetty with a bathing ladder for cooling dips. It is also possible to borrow a boat for a ride on the lake. Note: For everyone's comfort, we ask you to use the jetty for swimming, while sunbathing is done privately on the cottage's own large terrace. Coffee and tea are in cabinets over coffee maker and kettle. Salt and pepper mill are available. Dishwashing equipment is available. Other things to note Sjöstugan is located 10 kilometers south of Katrineholm, which is the closest town. There is a supermarket in the Lövåsen area, located northeast of Katrineholm. Here, you will find Ica Maxi, Willys, Rusta, Jula, Biltema, Dollarstore, Burger King, gas station, etc. EV charging stations are also available in the area. Distance to Kolmården Zoo is about 50 kilometers (50 minutes). Distance to Norrköping 42 kilometers. Getting to and from Stockholm by train is excellent from Katrineholm; trains depart every hour. Nearby attractions include, for example, St. Djulö Manor, which has a very nice manor café and also evening entertainment during the summer. Duveholm Manor, Julita Farm, and Eriksberg Castle are well worth a visit. Close to the Sörmlandsleden, which is a 100-mile (160-kilometer) long hiking trail through the natural and cultural landscape of Sörmland; the trail is divided into several stages.
