Undisturbed cozy cabin in amazing Trollheimen
Description
Charming, "cottage cottage" with very undisturbed location with only one neighbor. The cabin is perfect for those who love nature and tranquility, and do not have too high demands on facilities. Here you can put on shoes or skis and go straight out on a hike or go to work around the cabin and only hear the rush of the river, see and hear cranes in July and August, find reindeer horns or pick cloudberries, fish in the pond or in the river, light a fire, see the northern lights in the winter. You will have access to endless kilometers of skiing in the winter. The space The cabin has a small west-facing porch, very good sun conditions. The sun first sets at half past eleven in the summer and it is barely dark in the summer. A fire pan can be used in the outdoor area or the simple grill. Outside there are exciting pine trees to climb, blueberries and lingonberries and lots of chanterelles. Tree mushrooms and exciting bird life for all ages. Birds and trail books at the cabin, and undisturbed areas at the cabin where you do not meet people. In the living room there is an angle sofa that is a double bed at night if you want. It accommodates 7 people in total. If more people are needed, a mattress must be placed on the floor, but it is also possible. Good dining space on the kitchen table and around the living room table. Wood-burning stove that heats incredibly well and dries wet clothes, or fireplace for a quiet romantic evening. Lots of books and games for the whole family + a TV screen with Chromecast for impatient young people after a long time in the cabin. But you must either bring or use mobile data and have access to your own channels such as Netflix/Tv2 Sumo etc. The cabin has a simple kitchenette, with a stove and gas burner and fridge with freezer. Here are spices to use and some canned food and soup bags if there is anything you should miss. It is about 500 meters to walk from the parking lot, either on skis in winter or on foot. You have to cross the river and it is an exciting trip to the cabin. Here you need rubber boots when it is slippery on the rocks/has rained - then it is recommended to cross the river with sticks that are ready at the shore. If it is dry and bright, there are planks that go over the rocks, but you only go there when it is bright and not wet on the rocks. More info and description about this in the info letter you receive when you book. Woodshed and outhouse, but big boys do their business outside behind the shed. There is a possibility for a simple outdoor shower where you heat water inside and have it in a shower bag and stand outside and enjoy yourself on the north end of the cabin. For the extra tough ones, you have your own bathing facilities in the river - just bring shampoo and towels from the cabin. The water in the river can be 20 degrees when there are hot days in the summer. There is also a sink in the bathroom/toilet for evening grooming and tooth brushing. Brought water is only used for tooth brushing and drinking, otherwise the water in the water pond/river/melted snow can be used for cooking and washing dishes, etc. The water is cold enough to drink if 5 liters are in the fridge. Remember to bring: bed linen and towels, food you need, 5 liters of drinking water for 2 adults. Pack in bags and the adults will take several trips. It is appreciated if you do a simple cleaning, sweep the floor/vacuum and wash up (by hand) before leaving. Equipment for this is in the cabin. Welcome to a great cabin experience!
