Castle Head is a large rambling manor house, best suited for your big groups of 100-160 guests. Ideal as a summer camp venue with acres of outdoor space and only 20 mins to Lake Windemere. The space Dormitory bunk-bed accommodation: 4 bed, 8 bed or 10 bed options with communal bathrooms on each floor. 13 x rooms with en-suite bathrooms 5 indoor communal rooms for group gatherings, the largest room can sit 80-100 people. Indoor Sports Hall which can hold 160 people. Guest access Guests have access to all areas apart from staff offices. Other things to note Set in peaceful countryside, Castle Head is a relaxed, slightly rustic setting that works brilliantly for family gatherings, club events, youth groups, and university trips. The house includes a generous self‑catering kitchen, a full dining hall, multiple indoor breakout and social spaces, and practical dormitory‑style accommodation - everything you need for groups who value space, flexibility, and togetherness over luxury.
