Ideal for holidays with extended family, The Old Gasworks offers a three bedroom detached family house with a wood fired hot tub and two semi-detached lodges, one specifically designed for accessibility. A short stroll from the centre of the picturesque village of Milverton, near Taunton, it offers a peaceful location where you can relax in beautiful surroundings. The famous north and south coasts are easily accessible, as are Exmoor and the beautiful Quantock hills. The space Downstairs in the house you will find a well-equipped kitchen, utility room with downstairs toilet, separate dining room and lounge. Upstairs, bedroom one has a king-size bed, bedroom two has a zip and link bed which can be separated on request. The third room has a small double bed. The bathroom has a walk in shower and luxury bath tub. A selection of board games, books and baking equipment are provided for your indoor entertainment. We have a range of outdoor games, including badminton and table tennis There is a large grassed area and patio with a wood fired hot tub for you to relax, complete with a covered area to enjoy all weather outdoor dining. The lodges are a delightful combination of traditional and modern with wooden cladding and oak beams complimenting the very current interior design. A deluxe king size bed, wet room, micro kitchen, dining and lounge area combine to offer a comfortable, welcoming space. Ramped access to Lodge 1, and the clutter free interior, allows easier navigation for guests who use a walking frame or wheelchair. Additional aids (raised toilet seat with grab rail and a shower chair) can be provided on request. Towels and bed linen are provided, as are basic kitchen utensils and crockery. Parking in the traditional walled courtyard for at least 6 cars.
