Ingelara Farm Studio

Ingelara is a working organic/biodynamic family farm. On 230ha we grow potatoes, garlic, pumpkins, summer vegetables in a market garden and run a herd of Angus cows. The studio is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the serenity of the farm, conveniently located between Canberra and Cooma. Although the studio is right next door to our cottage, it is a private self contained space. Heading to the Snowy Mountains and wanting to stop off on the way or just looking for a getaway? The space The studio is a private, self-contained space equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom. While it sits adjacent to our cottage, it remains your own dedicated space for the time of your stay. ​While we live in the cottage next door and are always up for a chat or to answer questions about the farm, we strictly respect your privacy. We ask to please respect our privacy by not entering the cottage, garage or any other farm buildings. During the warmer months, we may occasionally pop by to water the plants around the studio. We’ll always send a quick message to let you know before we do! There are three dogs living on the farm Sally, Neva and Scotty. All three are friendly. Sally is a black Kelpie and lives right next door to the studio; she may bark a "hello" when you first arrive to let us know you’re here, but she is very friendly and usually just looking for a few extra pats. ​The Bathroom: For your exclusive use, the private bathroom is located just a few steps outside the studio door (built into the architecture of the adjoining cottage). ​We encourage you to lace up your boots and experience the scale of the property: ​Bush Walks: Wander across our 230 hectares of rolling landscape to take in the fresh air and expansive views. ​The Dam: Head down to our large farm dam for some "water action"—it’s a wonderful spot to sit by the water's edge or enjoy the stillness of the afternoon. ​Farm Life: Catch a glimpse of our market garden in action or say hello to the Angus cows as they graze Registration Details PID-STRA-89493
