The space This semi-detached period cottage has been beautifully modernised while retaining its original soul. As you enter, you are greeted by an expansive open-plan ground floor featuring gorgeous wooden flooring and a neutral "country white" palette. The lounge area is the ultimate spot for relaxation, centred around a classical log burner—perfect for those cosy forest breaks. A feature staircase separates the lounge from the dining area, creating a flow that is both social and spacious. Kitchen & Dining The heart of the home is the newly renovated, spacious galley kitchen. Flooded with light and leading directly out to the rear garden, it is fully equipped for a short stay or a longer family holiday. Master Bedroom: A tranquil sanctuary featuring a comfortable king-size bed and views stretching towards the New Forest in the distance. Twin Bedroom: A cosy, sun-filled room perfect for children or friends. While it is a more intimate space, it is thoughtfully laid out to ensure a comfortable stay. The Bathroom: A true showstopper. This spacious room features a large walk-in glass shower cubicle with a luxury rainfall head, providing a spa-like experience after a day of hiking or cycling. Rear Courtyard: A private sun-trap perfect for afternoon drinks or a summer barbecue. The courtyard spaces are ideal for storing bikes or leaving muddy wellies. We are very dog-friendly, and the outside area is perfect for cleaning off paws after a forest walk. Parking: Free on-street parking is available locally within a short walk. Location You are right in the heart of Lyndhurst. You can leave the car behind and walk to the village's famous pubs, bars, and tea rooms within minutes. The New Forest National Park is practically on your doorstep, offering world-class walking and cycling trails. Guest access You have the whole house to enjoy for yourselves. Other things to note Parking: There is usually a street parking spot outside our cottage, more suitable for a small car. Alternatively there is more free street parking down the lane as well. Pets: Little feet & furry paws are most welcome! We kindly ask pets stay downstairs and off furniture for hygiene reasons. Stairs: Please note the stairs are historically slightly steep (period property fun!) so please bear in mind with younger children etc. BBQ: you are very welcome to use our BBQ, please bring your preferred charcoal and clean after use (non-cleaning charge applies). Towels: 1 per guest provided with a hand towel by the basin.
