We don't have AC in the Room Room is on the first floor (down stair owner family is living) The space As part of the Airbnb host community, we are happy to host & welcome guests from all parts of the world. Ideally located in a mountain valley. Rooms offer Excellent Mountains & Tea Plantation View. Our Homestay is good for Couples, Honeymooners Situated at a distance of 8 kms from Munnar town, Homestay is in a hill slop, giving excellent view of tea plantation and mountains from the Room & Balcony. This is our Brand New Premium Cottage Room that we newly added. We have made this room look like a cottage to get more privacy. We got other 2 rooms in the same floor for guest with separate door entrance. Means, in the same floor there are 2 separate rooms which having separate door entrance. Your room is after those rooms. So during your stay other guests may be staying in other room but they wont have any direct access to your room. That means each room has its own private bathroom & balcony If you are looking for a completely independent cottage, then this is not like that. We made this room like a cottage with more privacy. However there are 2 other rooms adjacent to this on the same floor. Your cottage room will be exclusively for you with private attached bathroom and private balcony. There is walking pathway outside of other room balcony to reach your room. So while you passing passing, they can see you. Our's is a small homestay with basic amenities. So kindly don't expect a luxurious accommodation. During Misty and Rainy Time, there may be weak signal issues and channels wont be displaying properly. Hot Water : YOU WILL GET 24 HOURS HOT WATER IN TAP & SHOWER . Car Parking : Vehicle can be parked in nearby roadside only. Car Parking Area (Road Side) is 75 Meters Distance from the Homestay. From parking, guest have to walk a little steep & climb steps to reach their room. So our place is not suggestible for aged people or those who having difficulty in walking & climbing steps. Road Condition : From highway aprox 500 meters is steep road SO PLEASE COME SLOWLY in 1st Gear at this point. This is just an information for our guests who arriving. Normally all vehicle including taxis and self driven cars by guests are reaching our area. If you are coming by hired taxi, kindly share this information to the driver well in advance. Road is smooth for travelling. Remarks : Ours is a Homestay with total 3 Rooms for guests on first floor. 2 Normal Valley View Room and 1 Premium Valley View Cottage Room. We have newly added this premium room. Main staircase is common to all rooms (Refer Photographs). However all room have provided with separate balcony space. Your room balcony having more privacy and more spacious. Care Taker house owner and family staying in the same building in ground floor which is not having any connection with the guest rooms, Our rooms are with all the basic amenities with excellent valley view. Power Back Up (Installed on 19th Jan 2020)* : At the moment we have home inverter back up which powers ONLY for Lights in Balcony, Bedroom & Bathroom. (Power plug points, or any other electrical equipment WILL NOT BE FUNCTIONAL under home inverter back up) AVAILABILITY OF WIFI SIGNAL IF THERE ANY POWER CUT : Wifi will be functional under home inverter back up. That means even if there is any power cut in between, WIFI DEVICE WILL BE FUNCTIONAL and you will be getting internet TEMPERATURE DURING SUMMER ( Feb, March, April, May ) : Being summer , day time temperature will be on hotter side. However by evening temperature will be coming down & night time it will be cool. We have Ceiling Fan in the room. To avoid any misunderstanding, we would like to clearly share our meal guidelines in advance. Breakfast is Complementary and Included Your Package. (For Example if your booking for 1 night, 1 Time Breakfast is Included in the Package ) . Complimentary Breakfast: We serve a simple, homemade, single-item breakfast. Examples: * Dosa with chutney and sambar OR * Similar South Indian homemade item With Tea or Coffee Only one fixed breakfast item is included as complimentary Any additional dishes requested will be chargeable. Bed Tea or Coffee, Special Masala Tea, Boost/ Horlicks etc are not included in the complementary breakfast. It will be chargeable Not Included in Complementary Breakfast : (Extra chargeable) * Bed tea / bed coffee * Special masala tea * Boost, Horlicks, or any other beverages * Bread Toast/ Omlet/ scrambled eggs * Snacks or meals ordered separately etc Breakfast Timings: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM Other Food & Beverages All other food items beyond the complimentary breakfast will be extra chargeable. Or else guest need to wait till Check In Time . So on arrival day, if you reaching early, have your breakfast from outside and come. I Don't Want Breakfast. I need Complementary Dinner or Lunch Instead of Complementary Breakfast. Can it be done ? WE ARE REALLY SORRY. WE CANNOT CHANGE LIKE THAT. ONLY BREAKFAST IS COMPLEMENTARY & REST ARE CHARGEABLE LUNCH we have option for HOMELY FOOD as well on request on extra cost. Kindly inform us in advance BEFORE 10AM if you required home made food for LUNCH. It will be normal Kerala Meals Only (Subject to availability. Not always available. You may check in advance) DINNER we have option for HOMELY FOOD on request on extra cost. Kindly inform us in advance by 4PM if you required home made food for DINNER We serve dinner between 8 PM - 8.30 PM WE DONT HAVE INSIDE RUNNING RESTAURANT. Food can be ordered in advance and accordingly we will prepare it here in our kitchen and serve to you. RUNNING/ INSTANT food orders WON'T be possible. We don't have separate kitchen for veg and non veg. We ave only one home kitchen. All items are preparing in the same kitchen and using common plates and utensils to serve food Room Service or any other services will not be available after 9.30 PM. House owner and family will be going to bed after that. We having guests staying in other rooms as well. Also house owner and family staying downstairs. So loud music, sound, partying etc NOT ALLOWED. Kindly respect other guest's privacy. Quite Hours : 10 PM to 6 .30 AM. Kindly follow the quite hours. Room size is Approx 250 Square Feet Bathroom Size : 60 Sqft Balcony Space : 60 Sqft Walls are made of cement board This is our brand new addition and provided with maximum privacy Check In & Check Out Timings : Our Check In Time is 12 Noon & Check Out Time is 11 AM Even if your Check In late, There wont be any changes in Check Out time. It will be 11 Am itself. We are very close to nature. So you can expect the sound of birds, animals and insects especially during night time. Also outside lights attracts flies and insects (which is quiet common in hill station and we are so close to nature). So please keep your room doors closed when you sitting in balcony especially during evening and night time Being a small homestay, WE DON'T HAVE accommodation or fresh up option for accompanying drivers. So if you are coming by Taxi, inform the same to your driver in advance to avoid last minute confusion ---- Visitor & Access Policy Our homestay is part of our family home — a small, peaceful space with just three cozy rooms and beautiful mountain views. To maintain the privacy and comfort of both our guests and family, we welcome ONLY the registered guests listed in each booking. We’re sorry, but we’re unable to allow entry or dining for visitors, drivers, or friends who are not part of the booking. Ans: We truly appreciate your kindness, but as our homestay is part of our family home, we host only our staying guests. Ans: We understand the thought, but we don’t allow outside visitors inside the homestay. Our small family space is reserved exclusively for our guests to ensure comfort, safety, and a homely feel for all. ---- Q5: We are travelling with our driver. Can you serve food for him at an extra cost? Ans: We truly appreciate your understanding, but as a small family-run homestay with limited space and resources, we’re only able to serve meals for our registered in-house guests. Ans: We’re sorry, but our rooms and facilities are exclusively for the booked guests. As a small family-run home, we don’t have separate spaces for drivers or visitors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. ---- Q7: I’m travelling solo. Can I book a room? Ans: Absolutely! We’re always happy to host solo travellers. Many of our guests visit alone to enjoy the calm mountain views and the homely atmosphere at our place. ------ All our guests need to Carry Government Issued ID Proof with them. For Foreign Guests : Passport and Visa Copy needed for submitting C-Form for foreign nationals Law & Jurisdiction: All disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any service offered by us will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Devikulam (Munnar) only.
