Set across five floors, the house offers a unique sense of space, with plenty of room to relax, recharge, and enjoy the rhythm of village life. From quiet corners to a beautiful roof terrace, there’s a space for every mood. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s ideal for friends travelling together, or for those who simply enjoy a little extra space to themselves. The space Casa de Ramon is set in the heart of the riverside village of Benifallet, on the banks of the River Ebro. This spacious five-floor townhouse offers a unique layout, allowing each level to have its own purpose and feel. You enter from a quiet street into the ground floor, where you’ll find a welcoming entrance space that also doubles as a utility area (complete with washing machine). There’s plenty of room here for storing suitcases, bikes, or anything you bring along for your stay. On the first floor, you’ll find a calm and cosy living space - perfect for reading, relaxing, or a gentle yoga practice (mats and blocks are provided). There’s a small library to browse, along with jigsaws, games, and colouring materials. This floor also includes a small double bedroom, a full bathroom with a bath, and a balcony overlooking the quiet street. The next floor offers a second living area with a TV (just bring your own logins for Netflix, Prime, Now TV, etc.), along with the main double bedroom and a newly renovated shower room. There’s also another small balcony on this level. Up on the third floor is a light and airy dining space, centred around a large table - perfect for meals, long conversations, or setting up a workspace if needed. A small sofa and log burner make this a cosy spot in cooler months. Please note: two rooms on this floor are locked and not for guest use. At the top of the house, you’ll find a fully modernised kitchen, thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen also features a small, cosy dining space - perfect for slow breakfasts or a quiet coffee, if you prefer to stay inside, without needing to head down to the main dining area. From here, the door opens out onto the bright and spacious roof terrace, complete with outdoor dining furniture and space to relax. A canopy is available to provide shade on sunny days. Being right in the heart of the village, everything you need is just a short walk away, including a small local supermarket, bakery, cafes, bars and restaurants, and fresh produce shops. We also have a small tourist office. A few things to be aware of before booking: - The house is set over five floors with multiple staircases, some of which are fairly steep, as is typical of traditional Spanish townhouses. It may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. - Being right in the heart of the village, we are close to the church. The bells ring regularly throughout the day and night. Many guests find this becomes part of the rhythm of village life, and even stop noticing it after a short time, (especially when the doors are closed at night), but if you are very sensitive to noise, it’s something to consider before booking. Complimentary earplugs are also provided for light sleepers. Please note that, in line with our licence, the house accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. If you love character, space, and an authentic village atmosphere, Casa de Ramon offers a truly unique place to stay. Guest access Guests have access to the main areas of the house across five floors, including both bedrooms, two bathrooms, living spaces, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and the roof terrace. The house is entirely yours during your stay, and you will not be sharing the space with anyone else. To allow us to continue using Casa de Ramon as our personal home outside of guest stays, two rooms are kept locked for private use. These are not needed for your stay. This is a much-loved home rather than a purpose-built holiday rental, and we hope you’ll feel comfortable and at ease here. We kindly ask that guests treat the space with the same care and respect. Please note standard check in is between 3pm and 9pm. If you need to check in later, please let us know in advance. In the warmer months, we provide fans and recommend using shutters and windows to keep the space cool, as is traditional in the area. - Casa de Ramon is our personal home, thoughtfully prepared for guests to enjoy as their own during their stay. - A small tourist tax (set by the Catalan government) applies to stays and may be collected separately, in line with local regulations. - Maximum occupancy is 2 guests. Additional guests or overnight visitors are not allowed. - In accordance with Spanish law, photo ID/passport details for all adult guests must be provided before check-in in order to complete the mandatory guest registration process. Full arrival and self check-in details are sent once registration is information is received.
