Chalet Spatz Loft – Cozy Retreat with Shared Sauna

Welcome to the Swiss Chalet "Spatz" in Kandersteg! Our cozy retreat can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The alpine apartment captivates with its modern decor and creates an inviting atmosphere. In the well-equipped kitchen you can enjoy a delicious Swiss fondue. The bedroom promises relaxing nights, and the balcony offers a direct view of the wonderful mountains. Experience the magic of Kandersteg in this unique alpine gem! The space The Bijou is on the 1st floor of the rustic Chalet Spatz and combines alpine charm with modern living comfort. The main entrance is behind the house and is easily accessible via an external staircase. A special highlight is the sauna in the separate small chalet, which is located to the left of the house and is shared with other guests in the house – ideal for relaxing hours after an active day in the mountains. Living rooms: The living room welcomes you with its cozy atmosphere, underlined by the modern decor and natural elements of the chalet. A comfortable sofa invites you to relax after an exciting day. The windows let in plenty of daylight and offer panoramic views of the majestic Swiss Alps. Kitchen: The new, modern kitchen is a place of culinary experiences, equipped with a quooker, induction hob, and oven. Here you can prepare local ingredients and develop your cooking skills. The dining table can accommodate four people and is the ideal place to enjoy meals together and review the eventful day. Bedroom: The bedrooms radiate peace and coziness. The beds are equipped with quality linen to guarantee you a restful night's sleep. The windows let in the fresh mountain air and provide views of the surrounding nature. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed (180 x 200), the small bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 single beds (90 x 190). Do you want to combine work and the mountains? With an installed docking station and two screens, your workplace in the small bedroom is quickly ready for use – connect your laptop and work productively overlooking the mountain nature. Baths: The bathroom combines modernity with elegance. A rain shower is at your disposal to refresh and rest after a day of activities. Balcony: The balcony is a personal retreat with a picturesque view of Kandersteg's mountains. Here you can enjoy the mountain air and experience nature to the fullest. An ideal place for relaxing moments or social gatherings. Sauna (shared): The sauna is located in a separate small chalet to the left of the house and is shared with other guests of the Chalet Spatz. A wonderful added value for relaxation and regeneration – especially in the winter and transitional period. Parking: Parking is available in front of the apartment to make exploring the area as convenient as possible. The entire chalet reflects traditional Swiss architecture. In the basement of the Chalet Spatz there is another apartment, which can be rented separately. Welcome to your cozy short-term home in the Bernese Alps! Guest access During your stay, you will live in the cozy apartment on the first floor of Chalet Spatz. We ask for your understanding that the lower area of the chalet and the property of the neighbor may not be entered. Other things to note GOOD TO KNOW You are welcome to use the fireplace. The fireplace area must be kept clean at all times. The gallery with a small sofa corner is accessible via a wooden ladder. Not suitable for children under 8 years of age. Please note that use is on your own responsibility. We do not assume any liability for accidents. The gallery cannot be used as a sleeping area. There is no washing machine in the apartment. As is customary in Switzerland, the apartment is designed without air conditioning. Unfortunately, for organizational reasons, luggage storage before check-in or after check-out is not possible. 🚿 Bathroom use Please take care of the bathroom and make sure the water stays in the shower area. The bathrooms are not designed for water on the floor. Attaching your own hoses or attachments is not allowed. If water is spilled next to it, we ask that you wipe it up immediately to avoid damage. 🐞 Nature included The apartment is close to nature and right on the water. Especially in summer, mosquitoes or spiders may occasionally get inside. This is part of the location in nature and is not a sign of lack of cleanliness. Insect spray and - where possible - fly screens are available.
