A little about the area: Situated on the far edge of the peaceful pretty hillside village of San Romano, this house is ideally located for exploring, being just a 40 minute drive north of Lucca. The village itself does not have any facilities, and has only 60 inhabitants although fresh bread, cheese and vegetables are sold here. The villa is adjacent to the village on one side and has open uninterrupted countryside on the other… The town of Borgo a Mozzano with its bars, restaurants, shops, small Friday morning market and train station are a 15 minute drive away.
