Welcome to this in town home near Emerson Lake. In 2 min you could be fishing! Whether you are in the area for work, or a restful vacation this quiet self contained apartment offers a welcome place to call your home away from home. This lower floor apartment has extensive sound and safety improvements. If a roll-away or inflatable mattresses are acceptable we are fine with increasing the guest number to 6. If. you have a gaggle of kids, let us know and we will try and make it work. The space This is a brand new renovation to a 1980's home. The lower floor has been totally redone to make a full independent suite that meets legal suite status. Full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and washer and dryer. The suite is entered from the back door into a common area, with a private secure access door. The bathroom, is full functional with a shower only. There is a computer workstation with available laptop and monitor. The lounge includes a 56 inch TV with a basic cable package. Netflix or Prime can be logged onto as required. A dart board and lending library are available for recreational fun! The back yard is totally fenced. Guest dogs are welcome to enjoy the back yard in safety. The owners are expected to pick up after their pets. Guest access The main entrance for the lower floor suite is via the back door, down a flight of well lit stairs in a common area, with a secure and private entrance. Upon booking a door code will be issued for the back door and the suite door. If you have accessibility issues, be advised that there are 9 stairs to get down to the lower suite. Front street parking is rarely a problem. Parking of large commercial trucks can be arranged near by. Emerson Lake is a short 2 minute walk away and is stocked with fish and is very popular for walking trails and family outings. The garage is occupied by the host. If light vehicle maintenance is required a well stocked tool box and garage time can be arranged. The large back deck and patio is shared with the host and is the summertime social centre for story telling. The back garden is well equipped for gardening and the host usually produces more fresh produce that they can consume. Help yourself! Other things to note The use of illegal drugs, vaping or smoking materials of any kind is prohibited. This is a health issue for the host and we kindly ask for your cooperation in this request.
