The cabin on Yn

A quiet stay close to nature in a lovely little cottage on the banks of the Glomma? Then you've come to the right place; Welcome to the Cottage on Yn! The space The cabin on Yn is nicely located along the banks of Glomma, only 10 minutes from Årnes city center with shops and shopping center, and 50 minutes from Oslo. Here there is proximity to nature, tranquility, and a swimming area in the summer. The popular hiking trail Elvestien has its end point right outside the door of the cabin, a beautifully marked hike along the river all the way down to Årnes. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with beds for 4 people, and a sofa bed in the living room with room for 2 people, a total of 6 people. Simple standard with outdoor toilet in the outhouse. Water post outside the cabin in summer, in winter drinking water is brought to the cabin. The cabin has a sink and battery-powered taps on cans, so that you get some running water inside for hygiene. WiFi available. Please note that the road to the cabin is generally not cleared in winter, and if it has snowed a lot you must therefore be willing to walk 300 meters from the public road. No other pets are allowed in the cabin, but we sometimes have an allergy-friendly and non-shedding small dog. Guest access The entire property is free to use.
