We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route. The space The house has a simple standard but is clean and pleasant. The kitchen is well equipped and we will otherwise make sure that you have a pleasant stay. In the fall of 2025, there will be a small upgrade on the 1st floor, but not when there are guests in the house, so it will not be a nuisance for our guests. It would be nice if you specify which rooms you need. Bedroom no. 1 = 1 double bed 150 cm, nice space for 2 persons Bedroom #2 = 1 single bed 90 cm for 1 person Bedroom no. 3 = 1 bed 120 cm and 1 single bed 80 cm Bedroom no. 4 = 1 double bed 180 cm on the 1st floor for 2 adults possibly with one child Bedroom no. 5 = 1 single bed 120 cm on the 1st floor for one adult or two children We can possibly add a crib where needed. Guest access Guests can use their own entrance on the 1st floor. 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor and toilet in the hallway. 3 Bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Living room, kitchen, shared bathroom and a large sunny veranda facing southeast on the 2nd floor. Other things to note The area the house and the farm are located in is a small village with few inhabitants and with a large distance to the neighbors. It is an agricultural area but mostly pasture and quite steep. We live on the sunny side of the valley overlooking Jotunheimen and down to the village of Dovre about 3.5 km away. There is a grocery store, gas station and cafe. It is 10 km to Dombås and 30 km to Otta.
