A new 3000+ sq ft cottage professionally architected and built overlooking one of Georgian Bay's stunning Pointe au Baril inlets. 6 bedrooms for large groups or small, and located across from Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park offering access to beach and overflow guests who can stay in the campsite and walk or swim over to cottage. Perfect logistics for a family reunion. The space This cottage is large and spacious. Design is both modern and rustic, with amenities of an upscale property. The photos are deceiving, the cottage you see in most of the photos is just the Great Room. There is a 2 story bedroom building hidden behind. Kitchen is huge. Granite fireplaces, screened Muskoka Room with fireplace, gas cooktop, 2 fridges, well water, 3 bathrooms, air conditioning, satellite TV, boat dock, fire pit.. Cottage is road accessible. Water toys provided: canoe, adult SUPs, kids boards, and an aluminum boat with 15hp motor! Pointe au Baril is an amazing archipelago of islands, gorgeously spread out on the coast of Georgian Bay (Lake Huron). The main activity is exploring the islands, fishing, swimming, and just hanging out. For the adventurous, there is water access through the islands all the way to the open waters of the Great Lakes. Guest access Road access and parking for 3 or 4 cars. Boat access with 5+ foot depth along most of the dock. Aluminum fishing boat with 15 hp motor included. Other things to note There is a small family owned marina (Sturgeon Bay Marina) about 200 yards away. It is generally quiet and low traffic and a convenient place for kids to buy candy and adults to buy boat gas etc. Dan is the owner, and is the go-to guy for questions and boat emergencies. They rent cabins for overflow guests, however need to book early. They also have a few boats to rent. Groceries and hardware are available by car or boat 8 minutes drive either method at Home Hardware in Pointe au Baril. For major groceries, best go to Parry Sound.
