The unique Breidings landscape garden is also within walking distance, as are various other parks and lakes in the city center. In Solatu and the Lüneburg Heath, there are various events and adventure destinations all year round. For example, Heide Park Soltau, the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, the World Bird Park in Walsrode, the Nindorf Zoo, the Soltau Designer Outlet Center or the Snow Dome in Bispingen, to name just a few possible excursion destinations.
