It is a large and open penthouse with the best view of the harbor in downtown Grand Marais. Master bedroom with four separate bunks, large social area that includes the kitchen/couch/TV and a dining room with a view of the harbor. The space is new construction, open, modern and tastefully decorated. The apartment is located up two flights of stairs. The location and view of the Grand Marais harbor is by far 10/10. You have the whole apartment to yourself with a private entrance at the rear of the building. I or another manager will always be available either by phone or in the Tavern. Located directly across from the harbor park and at the start of the GunFlint Trail, there are countless stunning views and outdoor activities close by. Located next to one of the most beautiful bars on the North Shore, nightlife is prominent and enjoyable. Up Yonder is a new bar and music hall located at the top of the hill for day time and late night activities Grand Marais is located in the largest County in MN, on the 100+ miles of the North Shore and at the base of the 50+ mile Gunflint Trail. Expect to be driving to many of the most cherished attractions of the North Shore. Grand Marais is bike and walking friendly. A morning walk to the coffee shop and a hike to the Lighthouse/Artists Point is common. All of downtown Grand Marais is within walking distance. The apartment is next to the bar that can be open late or have live music. Sound can be heard at times but is muffled from well insulated walls and with a fan or a little background noise, it can be drowned out. This is only during our summer months and we rarely have music past 10:30 weekdays. Weekends can have music until 12:00.
