Overlooking Lake Superior, directly above the iconic Gun Flint Tavern, this downtown penthouse puts you at the heart of Grand Marais—steps from storefronts, harbor park, and the lake. Just outside your door is the seasonal rooftop bar, the Raven’s Nest, where you can catch live music and sunsets. The space This bright, top-floor apartment is made for gathering—open, casual, and centered around big views of the Grand Marais harbor. There’s a king bedroom, four built-in adult sized bunks, a full kitchen (no oven), dining area, and a comfortable lounge with a TV and fast Wi-Fi. The apartment shares a wall with the seasonal rooftop bar next door, the Raven’s Nest. During summer months, you will hear live music and/or patio noise into the night—especially on weekends. Most guests find the sound to be part of the fun, and the well-insulated walls, fan, or a bit of background noise usually do the trick if you’re turning in early. Music typically wraps up by 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends. It’s a great space to relax, play games, cook together, or just hang out after a day on the lake. You’ll be two flights up, right in the heart of downtown—an ideal base for couples and their kids, friends and family, or large groups looking to stay social and soak in the local scene. Guest access You’ll have the entire penthouse to yourself, with a private entrance at the back of the building.
