Take a break and unwind in this cozy cottage with modern amenities. Parts of the cottage are from the 1800s with typical charm, low ceilings and a small wood stove. Extended with kitchen and bathroom, an extra small bedroom and a sleeping loft. Located in the middle of berry and mushroom forests, close to lakes and hiking trails. There is a south-facing terrace, partly covered, where there is a sink with cold and hot water, benches and a small barbecue grill. Possibility of pool and sauna, see more under "your home". The space A Sörmland cottage dating back to the 1800s. A small living room with dining table, sofa and a small desk. Typical low ceiling, about 195 cm. A "bedroom" with a double bed and window overlooking the garden. Tiny and charming! Expanded in 2021 with a kitchen, bathroom and a small sleeping loft where there is a double bed. This loft is only accessible via a narrow wooden ladder and is therefore best suited for agile adults or slightly larger children. Another small bedroom with a 120 cm bed next to the bathroom and with direct access to the balcony. The cottage is located on a property where the host couple also lives in another house. However, the cottage is separated by a fence so it still feels very private. Lawn with apple trees and south-facing terrace. Surrounded by wonderful forests, full of berries! During the season from May through August, there is the possibility of a shared pool. Wood-fired sauna is available all year round. Pool and sauna are booked separately on site by agreement, fee applies. There are also several small lakes nearby that can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. Klämmingsbergsbadet with kiosk (during season) and beach is about 5 km away. The urban area of Gnesta, with shops, restaurants and transport (Regional trains as well as SL, buses) is 10 km away.
