Lakeside Cottage on Beavertail Basin

Our charming, lakeside, two-level cottage offers beautiful views of Beavertail Basin in a tranquil hillside setting. At our cottage, you can enjoy the sunset while listening to the loons that nest on a nearby island; admire the white pines while kayaking around the lake; or, walk through the woods to appreciate the local Acadian forest. Our cottage is situated at a quiet end of Beavertail Basin, offering a genuinely private and peaceful setting within the trees. The space Our four-season cottage sleeps up to 8 people. It has 2 newly renovated downstairs bedrooms with beautiful views and walkout access. One bedroom has a queen-sized memory foam bed. The other larger bedroom has a queen-sized memory foam bed and a pull-out sofa (full-sized bed), along with a smart tv for watching movies. The main floor features an open concept kitchen, dining nook, and living room, along with a water closet, shower room and built-in bedroom nook with privacy curtains. Enjoy especially peaceful morning views from this comfortable king-sized sleeping nook. The space is ideal for one or two families, or a group of good friends. The outdoor space features a hilltop covered gazebo with adjacent fire pit. By the water, there is another covered gazebo, a steel fire pit, a pier and dock. Other things to note * Dog-friendly space.  * To access the water, you must walk down a low-grade gravel hill. * Cellular coverage is limited in this area. We do have fast wifi. If you'd like to have a wifi-free time at the cottage, please let us know in advance and we can turn it off for you. * We are on a deep water well and wastewater goes to the septic field (large grassy area on the property). * Well water is filtered with a whole home UV filter and a whole home iron filter.
