Country Charm Apartment provides a cozy peaceful home away from home for our guests. Just 20 minutes from Marion, perfectly located for outdoor enthusiasts, we're close to breathtaking hiking trails in the Shawnee National Forest. We're just 5 minutes to Ferne Clyffe State Park, and close to Giant City State Park and biking at Tunnel Hill Bike Trail. Southern Illinois is a prime location for hiking, biking and enjoying award winning wines from the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The space Welcome to Country Charm Apartment! Sitting on 30 acres, it is a cozy rural two bedroom one bath upstairs apartment with many amenities to make you feel at home. 2 Queen beds and 1 Cot bed, each with cotton sheets and bedding for a good nights sleep Comfy couches Big screen smart TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick, sign in to your apps and watch all your shows Free high speed WIFI. Unwind, sit on the deck with a cup of coffee overlooking the pond, read a book, watch for deer and other wildlife, bring your own pole and go fishing in the pond, take a walk around the property, through the woods, or down the driveway to the creek. There is an attached apartment next door and family of the host living in the house across the driveway. Host lives through the woods North of Country Charm Apt. Guest access While we share a driveway, your place has its own private entrance. You will have complete access to the apartment and freedom to walk the property. (We ask that you respect the privacy of the other homes on the property, especially after dark.) **Also, note Country Charm is an upstairs apartment and only suitable for those who are okay with one flight of stairs. The stairs are indoors as shown in the photos. Other things to note We do have a long driveway that goes down hill through the woods over the bridge at the creek and back uphill. We are rural and seasonally we can get a few lady bugs that work their way into the apartment.
