Other things to note Miss Bailey — Our On‑Site Mascot You may see Miss Bailey, our sweet 9‑year‑old Beagle, during your stay at Sanctuary at Creek Crossing. She is well loved and fully cared for by our nearby property manager and enjoys treats, gentle attention, and lounging in her little doghouse on the back deck. She may wander around or bark occasionally — she likes to keep an eye on things. If she ever barks continuously, she’s usually alerting us that wildlife (often a black bear) is nearby. Guests are welcome to pet her and offer one of the provided treats. She’s friendly, calm, and a charming part of the property. Well Water Information Our home is supplied by well water. It is safe to use for bathing, cooking, and cleaning, though it may occasionally have a natural odor that is common with well systems in the area. For your comfort and convenience, we provide a gallon of drinking water along with a starter pack of bottled water. If you have any questions during your stay, we’re always happy to help! Letcher County Tourism / Transient Tax Guests we notice a 3% tourism tax that is required by our local county.
