Charming historic farm in the North of France

Fantastic atmospheric historic farm in foothills of the Belgian Ardennes (Avesnois). A unique place to stay together with several families. Cycling, walking and enjoying together in quiet village with extensive recreation area 15 min. Outside: BBQ, campfire, hammock, hut building, rocking, trampoline, kubb and pétanque play. Inside: play games around the fireplace and cook together. Please note: our house is not a clean luxurious hotel, but an old farm. booking 3 nights and 4-7 during holidays The space With a surface of more than 200 square meters, the farm under all weather conditions is in every season a wonderful place to stay, even with 2 families. The cozy living room with man-sized fireplace, the large kitchen with 6 burner gas stove and oven, the enclosed garden with possibilities to build cabins, trampoline, swing and campfire / BBQ, give young and old possibilities to relax and the outdoor life- holiday feeling that you are looking for. Guest access The house has 5 bedrooms (room 1: 2 x double beds, room 2: 1 x double and 1 x single bed, Room 3: 1 double bed, room 4: 1 bunk bed, room 5: 1 double bed), a large living room with plenty of seating ( seating area around the table of 10 people and sitting area around fireplace 10 people) and corner for children to tinker, large kitchen with table for 10 people, 2 bathrooms (BBG and 1 high) and a washing area in the room with bunk beds. (between sept ’18 and july ’19 under construction) Separate toilet on BGG and on the first floor in the bathroom. Property is not shared with other residents when renting. If desired: (only for weekly rental) bed linen 8 euros per bed, bed linen cot 5 euros, the beds are made. To be settled separately. So take with you per person a pillow case and an duvet cover. Please note: the house is a charming old farmhouse, no hotel yet isolated new building. The house has everything you need, but if you are looking for a spotless interior and design garden, this is not what you are looking for. Our house offers quality to be together, enjoying nature and freedom of movement for children and adults combined with a cozy well-equipped kitchen. In addition, a nice activity park (Val Joly) with, among other things, an indoor swimming pool, (see internet for the Dutch/German and English website). Other things to note Rubber boots are recommended in damp and wet weather. We recommend bringing warm slippers. Please do not wear shoes on the first floor. Note the low front door. Bring your swimsuit in case you go to the Val Joly pool (10 minutes by car). The stay includes towels Stay of 3 nights: sheet included, bring your own pillowcase and duvet cover One week stay: including bed linen Dogs: If you would like to bring pets, please contact us first. We assume that you regularly walk with your pets so that no poop is left behind in the garden. There is a surcharge of 15 euros per pet. Pets are allowed on the ground floor but not on the furniture. Pets are not allowed on the first floor. We charge 20 euros for leaving faeces in the garden. Bringing and cats is NOT allowed. Charging electric cars is not allowed and will be reported to airbnb if violated.
