Heartwood Cabin on Lake Cushman

Enjoy beautiful Lake Cushman at this cozy waterfront cabin. Enjoy swimming at a private dock, paddleboarding, fires, and s'mores. Easy access to nearby boat launches if you want to bring your boat. It's a short drive to the amazing Olympic National Park and Mt. Elenor hikes. Upstairs loft bedroom and downstairs bedroom easily sleeps four. Additional matts and fold out mattresses can accommodate up to 8 people. Note - dock only floats labor day to memorial day when the lake is up. The space There is a loft bedroom with a queen bed, a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed. There are green matts in the main room that make great kid beds, a folded futon bed in the downstairs bedroom closet. The couch is not a pull-out. Lake Cushman is a dammed lake. The lake is up memorial day to labor day and the dock will be floating. During the rest of the year the lake is down. It makes a rocky beach that is walkable for fit people, but it's steep and can be slippery. In the summer the sun hits the dock around 11 or 12 AM. There is a path down to the lake an dock. There are stairs and a path but it is steep.
