Anchor Point
Description
Sleeps 4 Less than a minute’s walk to Fisherman’s Bank Public Landing Master bedroom with king bed Ensuite shower room to master Second bedroom with twin beds Ensuite family bathroom Well equipped kitchen Dishwasher Washing machine Downstairs cloakroom Secure enclosed garden area Outside dining Free Wi-Fi 2 parking spaces Pet friendly (one dog or two small dogs only please) The space Anchor Point was built around 1900. We believe that it was part of the red brick Edwardian Coastguard residences and community buildings built in and around Argyle Road, Old Mudeford and the public landing area of Fisherman’s bank at the end of the road. The house is remarkably spacious with a large lounge and bay window facing Argyle Road. There is an open plan, well kitted out kitchen, dining area and small seating area overlooking the back garden, which is secure and solar lit for great alfresco dining; it has lots of storage and catches the sun for most of the day. A family dog is welcome, and it is less than a minute’s walk to Fisherman’s Bank, overlooking the harbour and only a five minute easy walk to Stanpit marshes, the recreation ground and cricket green. The house has two spacious bedrooms, the master facing Argyle Road which enjoys harbour glimpses and benefits from a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room. The rear twin bedroom has a fully tiled ensuite family bathroom with a full size bath and shower above. There are two parking spaces to the rear of Anchor Point with entry onto Coastguard Way. The house has recently been totally renovated and is a delightful and very restful place to stay for a couple or family.
