The property sits on over 5 acres with approximately 300 feet of private shoreline, easily accessible by walking paths on the property. Enjoy a lakeside picnic, gather around the shoreline fire ring, or take a refreshing—and chilly!—swim in Lake Superior. Picnic tables and designated fire areas are available throughout the property for guests to enjoy. Newly Renovated Common Area: The newly renovated common area provides a comfortable space to relax, unwind, and prepare simple meals. It features a wall-mounted TV and a small kitchenette equipped with a 14-in-1 air fryer, microwave, full-size refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, and cooking utensils. The kitchenette is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for basic meal preparation, including a 14-in-1 air fryer, microwave, full-size refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker, and a variety of cooking utensils. The 14-in-1 air fryer provides several cooking functions, making it especially convenient for preparing everything from quick breakfasts and reheated leftovers to roasted vegetables, frozen foods, and simple meals. The full-size refrigerator gives you plenty of space to store groceries and beverages during your stay, while the hot plate allows you to prepare simple stovetop meals. Step outside onto the newly built deck and enjoy the surrounding scenery, or fire up the grill for an outdoor meal. With multiple picnic tables throughout the property, there are plenty of options for enjoying your meals and spending time outside. Located near Lutsen Mountains and the Superior Hiking Trail, this cabin is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for an authentic, rustic, and unplugged North Shore escape. Important Things to Know: No running water: This is part of the cabin's rustic experience. Two 5-gallon water jugs with dispensers are provided for guest use, along with bottled water. Showers are available across the street at AmericInn for $5 + tax, or you can enjoy a refreshing swim in Lake Superior! 😊 Composting toilet: The cabin uses a modern Sun-Mar composting toilet rather than a traditional flush toilet. It is clean, odor-free, and easy to use. Simple instructions are posted in the bathroom and included with the check-in information. Please follow these instructions to help keep the system functioning properly for everyone. Shared property: There is another rental on the property. The driveway is shared, and some waterfront areas are shared as well. We ask that all guests be respectful of one another and mindful of other guests they may encounter during their stay. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire cabin and surrounding outdoor space.
