The 2 gites of la Lucaziere are located one and a half hours south of the ferry port of Ouistreham and 35 minutes from Le Mans. They are set in grounds which form part of a 400 acre organic estate with its chateau, meadows and extensive woodland. The owners of the gite live in the chateau, far enough away to allow you privacy but on hand if required. The local village of Mont saint Jean is less than 1 km away and has a bar and a small shop as well as a boulangerie. The local area offers many attractions. The lake and beach of Sille le Guillaume is just 5 km from la Lucaziere, there you can enjoy sailing, ,pedalos, pleasure bikes or simply relax at one of the bars with a glass of wine! Nearby, the picturesque village of St Leonard du Bois offers kayakng and superb hiking and cycling routes as well as some lovely restaurants. There are many other beautiful villages in the area to be explored. But if it is peace and tranquility that you require why not just lase around the heated pool at la Lucaziere.
