Bakki Apt - Cozy 1BD apartment

Our apartment is located in the quiet and peaceful, authentically Icelandic town of Eyrarbakki. Less than an hour away from many of Iceland's major attractions, including the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon. Fully-equipped, kitchen and all. We have four apartments that have similar but not identical setups and decor, so the apartment might not match the pictures. Two are on an upper floor (with no lift). If that's an issue, let me know and I'll make sure you get the one in the photos. The space Your home away from home, a cozy one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, dining area, and lounge/living room. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and the couch in the alcove is a sleeper sofa (double/queen size). There is also a sofa in the lounge with a smart TV with access to the web (with wireless keyboard), YouTube videos, and our collection of movies and TV shows. Located just a few minutes away from the TripAdvisor 'Certificate of Excellence'-winning Rauða Húsið restaurant and just next-door to the local shop. Guest access If the weather is nice or you want to get a great view of the sunset, there is a small deck with a bench just behind the building, up on the seawall. It's usually calm there and it's the best spot in town to catch the sunrise or sunset. Other things to note If you need to do laundry, let us know. For a small fee, we can wash and dry it for you. Be prepared that this is a small town things close early and open late, so make sure you have what you need for the next day's breakfast before it gets late. Samkaup in Selfoss is open until 23:00 and from 7:00 a.m., and there's a bakery in Selfoss, but other than that there isn't much open. If you get stuck, let us know. If you are lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights, the best place to see & photograph them is from the beach at the west end of town (drive past the Rauða Húsið restaurant and down to the end of the paved road, then keep driving on the dirt track until you find the place you want to stop).
