Highly quiet private location in the woods, close to Höga Kusten

The cottage is a fully-equipped and comfortable idyll all year round. Private, quiet and very peaceful location close to the lake. Enjoy the garden with its unique waterfall and the wood-fired sauna. Walk to the village swimming area with additional sauna, and the cottage's boat/canoe/kayak. There are fishing waters, berry and mushroom fields, walking paths and snow in winter. On the farm there are sheep and you are most welcome to bring your pet. My ambition is for you to have a really good time with me on hand without me disturbing you. The space The cottage is a genuinely older house with slightly worn charm and cottage feel, while being fresh and comfortable. There is a garden with a barbecue area and a simple gazebo with a dining area, a private wood-fired sauna in the garden and a unique waterfall thanks to the river that flows by right next to it. Walking distance to swimming area with sauna and boat. Nice walking paths all year round, plenty of fishing waters, berry and mushroom areas just outside the knot. In winter, you can fish and there is snow in winter. You live on a small farm with sheep. In the meadows at or near the cottage, the sheep graze in the summers, in the winter some of them live at the cottage. If you want to go on an excursion, the High Coast (World Heritage) is only thirty minutes drive away. In the area, there are Skule National Park, Nordingrå and Ulvön. The cottage has two bedrooms and two sleeping alcoves upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. Refrigerator and freezer, as well as a larger old-fashioned pantry. Dishwasher, washing machine with dryer and boot dryer. Thorough cleaning is always included in the price. The base price is for up to five people, but the house has seven full beds, each extra person costs SEK 200/person. Children up to two years stay for free. If you want to rent sheets and towels, you can do so for SEK 200 per person. Cost of electricity will be added upon check out. However, the house has a good heating system (two air heat pumps and three fireplaces). You have free access to wood. Possibility to charge an electric car at a regular but stronger outlet, bring adapter. During high season, i.e. summer, Christmas and New Year, Torpet is rented out for at least one week at a time, usually Sunday to Sunday. If you have special requests during the high season, you are warmly welcome to contact us! My ambition is for you to have the best possible time! Guest access You live all by yourself at Torpet. There is the residential house, a simple garden house and a sauna. Inside the Torpet itself, you have access to everything, except a locked alcove (storage room). On the farm there is also a small sheep house as well as a storage room building. On its gable closest to the residential building, you will find things for outdoor activities, a wood storage and a corner for recycling. In winter, sheep live at Torpet and more in the neighboring farm. If you want to visit them, you are more than happy to do it, in my company. Other things to note During the summer we have temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees, with both rain and sun. During winter it is normally around 5-10 degrees cold, but it can also be 10-20 degrees minus. The snow normally comes in December, some years we have less snow and some years we have a lot. Winters have become milder over the years, but I dare say with certainty that there will be enough snow from the first week of January until mid-March. During the summer, noise can sometimes be heard from tractors in the fields (not on the farm but in the area), in the winter you can hear any period of time forest machines, or sounds from a nearby lake where you sometimes drive Israel. The latter is welcome to visit!
