The house is located 20 km from the coast in the Apuinian Alps at an altitude of 650m. Levigliani has 3 restaurants and two grocery stores. There is hardly any traffic within the town because the roads are sometimes very narrow. Above the village is a stalactite cave to which a bus starts in the center. There is also a small museum and a silver mine that can also be visited. The "Levigliani Wine Art" Festival takes place every year in the first week of August. On the three days of the festival, the entire place is decorated and the local and high-quality companies offer wine and gastronomy from the region. In 2019, 8,000 visitors populated the streets of the small mountain village. Levigliani is also very popular as a starting point for hikers, mountain bike riders and mountain climbers. There are many marked hiking trails that lead into the mountains. In the vicinity are the cities of Carrara, Massa, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Viareggio. Lucca and Pisa are also very suitable for a day tour and Florence is 100 km away.
